🏅 Reward: In-game title for first 5 ranks, first 3 will be placed on the winner’s podium in front of the arcade hall
💪 Practice the arcade games in a training session on Feb 06 at 19.00 UTC (20.00 CET)

What?

It’s been a long time since the first Arcade Tournament happened on AES. Now, it’s time for the trophies to move on to the new generation of players.

Join us for the second (but definitely not the last) Arcade Tournament.

Rules and application

• We’ll accept 16 players for the tournament. The first ones to apply get their seat.
• If you don’t show up before 20.15 UTC on the day, you cannot take part in the tournament. Additionally, you will not be allowed to participate in any other AES tournament within the next year.
• To apply, just write an in-game message via /mail to “fnetX” or to our Matrix channel
• The participants get a confirmation before February 18
• If you are not accepted, you are still invited to join and have fun. Any free seats (e.g. when players don’t show up) will be distributed last minute.

How does it work?

On that day, the participants will be randomly distributed onto 4 groups.
The groups compete against each other using the “Arcade Party” and the points are added up.
If there is a tie in the end, the first ranks will play against each other in a final party.

The schedule looks like this:

20.00: Opening ceremony and fun playing
20.10: Match A vs B
20.15: Match C vs D
20.20: Match A vs C
20.25: Match B vs D
20.30: Points are added up. If there is a tie, a final match will be held.
20.40: Award ceremony and announcement of winners
