What is A.E.S.?
A.E.S. is a free multiplayer minigames world where people play short games like Block League, Fantasy Brawl and Skywars together.
Is A.E.S. Minecraft?
No. A.E.S. runs on Luanti, a separate free block game platform.
Why do I need Luanti?
Luanti is the program A.E.S. runs on: without it, it would not work.
How do I get in?
Open the Play page, download Luanti if you need it, then search for A.E.S. in the server list.
Is A.E.S. free? No pay-to-win?
Yes. A.E.S. is free and does not sell in-game advantages. Donations cover expenses and speed up development, full stop.
Community & support
How can I support A.E.S.?
Use the Liberapay page linked from Donate. Even small recurring donations help because goals are weekly.
Will A.E.S. stop being developed if I do not donate?
No. A.E.S. will keep receiving updates either way. Donations are an accelerator: they help us turn ideas that would take months or years of free time into work we can finish much sooner.
Can I help without donating?
Yes: bring a friend, translate A.E.S., make a video, report bugs, or share updates.
Can I get the Videomaker role?
Yes. Send us an A.E.S. video that names A.E.S. in the title or description and reaches one of these per-video thresholds: PeerTube 20 views, YouTube video 100 views, or YouTube Short 1,000 views.
Are there community events?
Yes. A.E.S. runs seasonal events and tournaments, usually every 6 months. They are a good excuse to play together and unlock small rewards, like prefixes or a statue of the winner on NPCs in the hub.
