So, uhm… Hello! Welcome to our humble abode in that cosmos we call web. We’ve got a blog now, apparently.

Mm? You don’t know much of the server and you’re not really sure about why you’re here? Regarding the latter: I feel you, why are we here, buddy? What’s life? What’s love? Why can’t we move our pinky toe? And why are you now trying doing it, to then only discover it was a blatant lie? A true mystery. Anyway, regarding the former: we’re a Luanti minigames server created by a few friends in 2021, during the pandemic. We wanted to create a safe gaming space where people could have fun without shaking hands with debatable companies. You know, privacy issues, pinkwashing, companies involved in brutal killings and all those lovely things that make you understand how money is worth way more than people’s lives 🤩. What have we done in these years? Well, this video is a good recap. Moreover, these are our 2023 and 2024 highlights:

We’ve decided to start a blog mostly because we want our changelogs to be public, using RSS to deliver them to the Internet. If we keep publishing them on Matrix, as we currently do, we create a barrier for potential new players whom might decide not to look into it further and then leave. Also, using a standard like RSS allows us to automate a few things here and there. Because another important thing is, we’re not paid to keep the server running, we only rely on donations. So if we can publish only once and have the post delivered both on Mastodon and Matrix, well, that sounds great to us! Also, speaking about donations… a little one? 👀
