Our website used to be a higgledy-piggledy solution, made in _Zaizen_’s free time whilst Giova and Zughy focused on game development. We wanted something that portrayed the aesthetics of A.E.S., so we opted for a complete overhaul - trying to keep it as static as possible.
The website works both with and without javascript: the former features a few animations and a game of life on the side of the page. This last one was, not gonna lie, vibe-coded. It features the Soothing 32 palette, made by Zughy, which is also used over the rest of the website.
Another addition is the “FAQ” section, which can always be useful - especially for new players. Moving on, our community spaces are now way more defined and you can clearly see the numbering of “This week on AES” blog posts. Last but not least, custom cursors!
