This map is not only a cosmetic introduction: Since everyone is forced the same perspective, gameplay might be slightly different from the previous map. The artist no longer needs to consider the orientation of the viewers, but to account for their perspective and make sure the building is actually visible.
fnetx is working in event technology, so the map might have a little more detail than usual. If you wonder about all the things you see on the stage, check out a picture of a common backstage view. The huge machinery compared to the audience is really impressive!

Last week, a commit modifying the server-manager mod for the building contest early 2026 was inadvertently pushed to the upstream repository and getting deployed on AES. This has caused those with the Map Builder title to gain elevated permissions (fly, fast, noclip, creative and build) on the actual server.
